H&M is Eco-friendly and Socially Aware

 Fast fashion retailer, H&M knows how to keep consumers coming back for more! After coming off a successful collaboration with fashion designer Isabel Marant, H&M is about to launch a new Eco-friendly denim line {end of February} that consist of jeans, jackets, vests in different washes. Get this; each item is made of 20% recycled cotton {which is the max, standard}.

I remember H&M launching a program that accepted used clothes from their customers, in return for a discount. Well, they collected 7.7 million pounds of used denim! H&M is on to something here...a portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity. H&M is also paying of looking to pay factory workers a living wage.

 We told H&M's next collabo designer is fashion designer Isabel Marant! She teased us with a picture via her Twitter page {above}. I love it, and SHE is wearing the look. The silhouette of the dress with those boots is a strong but laid-back statement....Can't wait for more!

H&M has announced fashion designer Isabel Marant is their new guest designer! 

The collection will be called the Isabel Marant Pour H&M and it will be available online and in selected stores in November!

This should be great! Isabel Marant’s style is VERY fashion forward and feminine. She also has a way with prints. I did a post on her popular wedges, so yeah this works great H&M!

Yessss more sneakers and designer at that!  I had to go straight to the source.  Aside for the Isabel Marant wedged sneakers, the Giuseppe Zanotti are pretty HOT right now too. All the Fashion Chicks and stylish men should keep a pair of fly kicks!

Sneak Peak: Isabel Marant wedge sneakers

Here is a sneak peak of the latest Isabel Marant wedge sneakers . 

I am a sneakerholic...I love designer sneakers! 

According to nylonmag.com:

This week, Topshop's US stores - including the nationally available topshop.com - gets a load of wedge sneakers.  They come with rubber soles, velcro tabs, and a good three inches of height.  They cost $150 - not cheap, but definitely not French Designer territory.  And if you want to pick up the trend before Marc by Marc turns it into a frenzy, this is your best bet.

These wedge sneakers are a fusion between my two favorite types of shoes, sneakers and wedges.  I love sneaks because they are comfy and just so easy to do.  I like wedges because wedges are more tolerable than full on heels after wearing for a while.  Wedges also give off another statement to your overall look.

Clearly these are going to set a new trend for the season, so I will be keeping my eye out for other brands to kind of come up with their own version and for a more affordable price!;)
