 We told H&M's next collabo designer is fashion designer Isabel Marant! She teased us with a picture via her Twitter page {above}. I love it, and SHE is wearing the look. The silhouette of the dress with those boots is a strong but laid-back statement....Can't wait for more!

As you know, we're always looking for other HOT designers to work with here at That Fashion Chick. Well...one day while on twitter, this amazing chick caught my eye...introducing Ivy Shades!!!

Stephanie “Ivy Shades” Johnson was born December 7, 1984 in Los Angeles, California, where she continued to live until her relocation to Houston, Texas at the age of 12. Ivy Shades is a model, aspiring actress, fashion designer, entrepreneur, and a recording artist. Not only is she creative, she is also educated, receiving an Accounting degree from the University of Houston at the beginning of her multifaceted career.

Ivy Shades Designer Eyewear debuted in Houston, TX on September 28, 2010. Shortly after, sales spread across the United States, even taping into the International market. Due to the success and demand of the first line, Ivy was inspired to create her second line of designer Eyewear “Retro”. Ivy Shades elaborate designs took the fashion industry to the next level in the blink of an eye. Ivy released her fifth and sixth lines of designer Eyewear “Rock Star” and “BBO” in October 2011. Inspired by Mad Max, the new lines really captured Ivy’s talent as a true pioneer in shade wear. Ivy's latest line "Candy" was released in August 2012, in conjunction with the Annual Charity Fashion Show. The fashion show was a first for the company, but will continue allowing the company an opportunity to give back to the community.

Ivy Shades has many notable accomplishments as a designer, like Jet Magazine's Designer Spot Light {10/03/2011} and Black Enterprise 13 Young Innovators Driving The Business of Design {January 2012}. Ivy Shades has truly earned her spot in the designer shades world; Ivy's designer shades are sold online {www.ivyshades.com} as well in high end boutiques, so be on a look out for Ivy Shades in a store near you.

Ivy Shades is still working on designing as well as her notable music career and has a lot more to accomplish. Asos' Christmas Campaign with Azelia Banks {Watch This!!}

With Christmas right around the corner, it's time for the for the seasonal campaigns. Online retailer Asos has launched their Christmas campaign staring singer Elle Goulding, model Charlotte Free and hip-hop artist Azealia Banks. 

The campaign is aimed towards social media networks. These three stars will be giving interviews, posting photos & videos, as well as offering fashion and beauty advice through Instagram, Facebook and other popular social media sites.

Coach has a new look {Legacy Collection}

A couple of days ago I tweeted about Coach loosing its trademark monogram logo, and let me say again #changeisgood!  As a designer or artist, the best advice one can take is always reinvent yourself.  If you do, your brand will always be fresh and modern, and as a result your brand will constantly attract new clients/consumers. 

Coach is coming out with a new Legacy Collection {the name says it all} that will consist of timelessly-chic pieces that will include: handbags, shoes, hats, outerwear, leather goods, IPad cases as well as desk accessories.   Most of these pieces are inspired by Coach archival pieces, now updated with a more modern appeal.  The Legacy Collection will include men and women pieces.

Jason Wu is on fire!

Aside from Jason Wu's latest creative project, designing luxury faucets, he is relaunching his website and just hopped on the twitter train!  You can follow him @MissyWu_Ny.  The sight was done by Li, inc and will be relaunching June 6, 2011.  The site will feature an area e-commerce, starting with handbags.

 

“This gives us the opportunity to curate our own boutique,” says Wu.  “It’s a way to explore new ideas-small leather goods, key chains-and get direct feedback.”

As a boost for the site, Jason Wu is holding a giveaway on his Facebook page, awarding a lucky fan a $1500 online shopping spree.
