In my opinion, the fashion industry is  where creatives can ultimately be creative with limitless reach. Fashion provides total expression! 

Good, bad, or indifferent, fashion is a useful source at displaying "the here, and now" {out with the old...in with the new. Gotta keep up!}.

Fashion is not only about apparel...it gets political.

 The highest way fashioners handle their discrepancies: hit the runway or put it on a t-shirt!

Nothing like a fashion tantrum{we STRUT-T-T👠 it out}.😂 It's creative, non-violent, fierce, and lucrative!

Runway Crush: CHANEL Spring/Summer 2015 RTW Collection {Watch This!!}

Chanel is such a girl's-girl label. No matter a chick's personal style...Chanel brings the effortless 'IT' appeal to every look! 

This Spring/Summer 2015 Collection is dopeness - stand out pieces include colorful prints paired well with the classic, but recharged tweed looks and retro vibes. The overlaying shoulder details on tops and blazers are refreshing. Chanel accessories are always bananas...the microphone purse and different style of flats are really cool.

The theme of the show looks like 'girl power' with major flare. Fashion makes a statement for the cause. Karl Lagerfeld is always amazing!

You can ALWAYS count on Chanel {Mr. Lagerfeld} to put on a magneef show *fashion voice* lol.

See, this is what gets me inspired and all hyped about fashion. The Chanel chick is branching out more with style and edge like never before.  There are the lovely layers and the classic tweed, but there is also a sense of youthfulness with this collection. Chanel is letting her hair down; being a bit more chilax with her style. So kool in fact, it is chic enough for the grocery store.

The concept and just tying everything in with the collection, made for a very intriguing show!

The wait is over. That Karl Lagerfeld is a genius I tell ya and one of my true fashion idols. Lagerfeld is over the Chanel fashion house and Chanel is my #1 fashion idol, her legacy is brilliant {I’m following suite}.

Karl Lagerfeld directed a short film called "Once Upon A Time..." starring Keira Knightly as Coco Chanel as well as other familiar model faces. The fashions are lovely and classic as well as the different scenes.  I’m a fan of black and white films…I zone out.

This is a must watch for all the inspiring designers out there…we all start from somewhere and end with a legacy ;)

Karl Lagerfeld + Cara Delevingne For Melissa Magazine {Watch This!!}

Fashion's fairy God Father Karl Lagerfeld shot {and appears along side} one of fashion's IT-girls, Cara Delevingne, for the cover of Plastic Dreams. This the in-house magazine for shoe giant, Melissa. Karl became a part of the Melissa family after signing a four season deal designing an exclusive collection of shoes for the jelly shoe giant. 

For the ninth issue of the mag, Melissa gave Karl creative direction for the cover and a 30 page spread featuring a 16-page fashion shoot with Cara D wearing looks from the first capsule collection by Karl, including a shoe she wears on top of her pony tail. WOW!! 

A teaser video from the shoot shows Cara "the queen of kooky fashion videos" making faces and putting up bunny ears behind Karl while he pretends to be completely unruffled by Cara, staying cool and collected behind his iconic shades.

Karl Lagerfeld is a designer who's work I always look forward to and learn from. He is a real fashion genius.

This latest collection {Chanel Fall 2013 RTW} is just HOT-T-T {stank face}! There is not a piece or look I don't like. Exaggerated sleeves and stylishly different silhouettes are huge focal points on runways these days, but Chanel is still in her own world. Which is exactly what was on the runway...a huge larger than world globe with Chanel models walking around it.  LOVED IT!

The hats, fingerless gloves, slick-chic boots, and delicate details where all just amazing. This collection has a nice flow and quite the variety...plenty of options!

Alber Elbaz + Lancôme Make-up Collection {Watch This!!!}

First it was Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura, now it's Alber Elbaz for Lancôme. The Lanvin designer, is set to launch his first make-up collection on June 15th.

I am so smitten with Chanel's Spring 2013 RTW collection.  Mr. Lagerfeld you are remarkable!  This collection is showing a bit of edgy style, but in a Chanel way. It is definitely a new look for the label. I like it! It looks refreshed and upbeat. Oh and the ‘Lagerfeld’ gloves..NICE!  Aside from the collection, the accessories were awesome, 'SUPER SIZE' comes to mind.

Azaelia Banks is a new hip hop femcee on the rise! She is my type of chick...she lives in her skin. An artist no matter the genre, must never compromise his/her craft!  Banks has already gotten real acquainted with the fashion world too {ie Karl Lagerfeld}.

Karl Lagerfeld is doing beauty {Limited Edition}

Karl Lagerfeld is releasing a limited edition beauty collection set to be released as a holiday collection this November!

Lagerfeld is partnering with beauty company, Shu Uemura, for the launch. Mr. Lagerfeld is also using his creative mojo on the packaging.  The line will consist of 17 products and of course the theme has some kind of Karl inspiration.  It's said to be 'iconic, iconic Karl style'.

Here's the bummer...the collection is only available in Shu Uemura stores, which are all over the water.  Let's pray for an online miracle.  But, yet another one for Karl Lagerfeld!
