"That Fashion Chick"

Who is she?

That Fashion Chick {TFC} has magnetic style.  She is very much aware of her personal style- the foundation of a TFC.

It all begins with: Style.Confidence. IT!

*Style: a TFC knows how to edit her style, while staying in code with balance & flow.

*Confidence: a TFC owns her look as she exudes effortless appeal.

*IT!: a TFC can not be denied when her fashions meet style.  As her personal style is displayed with confidence,  the wow factor is inevitable.

Are you a "That Fashion Chick"?! It's time to dissect this chick!

Runway Love: CHANEL Fall-Winter 2014/15 Ready-to-Wear show - Full Film {Watch This!!}

You can ALWAYS count on Chanel {Mr. Lagerfeld} to put on a magneef show *fashion voice* lol.

See, this is what gets me inspired and all hyped about fashion. The Chanel chick is branching out more with style and edge like never before.  There are the lovely layers and the classic tweed, but there is also a sense of youthfulness with this collection. Chanel is letting her hair down; being a bit more chilax with her style. So kool in fact, it is chic enough for the grocery store.

The concept and just tying everything in with the collection, made for a very intriguing show!

TBT: Willi Smith founder of Williwear - Fashion Designer {Black History Month}

This is Willi Smith a fashion designer declared ”the most successful black designer in fashion history”  by fashion writer Liz Rittersporn, with the New York Times in 1987.

via Simply Kim Ross:

Willi Smith, founder of Williwear in 1976, increased his sales from $30,000 to $25 million in his first year in 1986. His line was featured in more than 500 department and specialtystores. Although he designed for “real people”,  Smith designed for wealthy and prominent people such as suits for Edwin Schlossberg and his groomsmen when he married Caroline Kennedy in 1986. He also designed clothing for Spike Lee’s film, “School Daze”. Smith’s talent for making the most of limited resources extended to the presentation of his fashions. The hallmarks of Smith’s designs are–natural fabrics, a relaxed, comfortable fit, colorful and eye-catching material, and a reasonable price tag.

Good stuff and great fashion inspiration for real!

From the food bank to making bank, #GIRLBOSS is the story of how I tried to escape capitalism—and ended up a CEO. Watch This!!: Modest Street Fashion {On The Streets - Episode 1}

This is some good style inspiration. It may not be your cup of tea per se, but you can get a look at a new wave of street style happening in NYC!

via MSF YouTube:
Modest Street Fashion is a collection of photographs that commemorates the emerging culture of modest street style which has erupted around the world. It is the first book to visually document this ever growing international trend that has exploded from the streets of Kuala Lumpur to the alleys of New York City. Profiling some of the top 'hijabistas' this is a must-have inside look into a twenty-first-century genesis of a faith driven style.

iMerchandise App {logo}

Have I got an amazing fashion app for you lovely fashioners! It's called the iMerchandise App which is compatible with your iPhone and iPad and super easy to navigate. Special thanks to David Secul {CEO and Founder of iMerchandise App} for contacting That Fashion Chick and sharing your awesome product with us {we LOVE fashion stuff like this}!

via Email:
"My startup has recently launched a new fashion iPhone and iPad app that simplifies the clothing buying process for retailers and personal shoppers. There is nothing like it on the market. It helps boutiques and store owners that go to fashion shows to eliminate hand written orders and replaces all the paperwork hassle."

"I am a retailer and I’ve created this app with my own funds initially for my personal use. I am not after ROI and I just did it because I have found this niche need (often going to Fashion Weeks all around US). I’d like to help other retailers and personal shoppers find about iMerchandise too."

That's what fashion is all about…see a need, create a niche!
