Let me tell ya, this chick has it...Style! I like how she mixed the patterns {stripes with diamonds}. She looks so edgy-chic and overall cohesive. It's not too much and it's not looking like she is trying too hard. Each piece adds a different element of detail that keeps you intrigued. I LOVE it! A Fashion Chick possesses a great sense of style naturally and it does not have to be "trendy".
There are many different style personalities. A {That} Fashion Chick isn't necessarily boxed into one...she makes any style her own.

I prefer a classic/simple-chic with an edge. I can apply my personal aesthetic to which ever style I'm feeling at the moment {whether dressed up or down}.

I am digging Silvia's style! It's a great example of classic/simple-chic with an edge.  She has the whole denim on denim {trend} working for her.  Silvia's colors are monochromatic with the blues and browns. Here are two amazing collections that recently showed in Paris. Balenciaga {dear to my heart} and Balmain both had eye catching shows!  Both of these collections were about structure, print play, fabrication and simple-chic appeal.  These are two must see collections that exemplifies That Fashion Chick kind of style nicely.

The Alexander McQueen visor shades are being commercialized {Watch This!!}

Sarah Burton is really keeping the Alexander McQueen fashion house alive!  She is keeping the same aesthetics {for the most part} that made the late Alexander McQueen a famous designer, who brought a  new vision to the fashion industry.

Sara Burton also has her own aesthetic and direction to keep the line relevant and lucrative..hence the new store in London.

If you watched the Alexander McQueen Fall 2012 runway show you would have seen these futuristic eye wear that is about to be greatly commercialized.

The visor shade can be yours for a kool $475. That would be an affordable investment too!...lol it IS McQueen!!

Azealia Banks for T by Alexander Wang {Watch This!!}

It looks like femcee rapper on the rise, Azealia Banks has scored another break in the fashion industry! 

Azealia Banks is the new face for the T by Alexander Wang campaign. That's a good look for both parties. We are digging Azealia Banks' { we recently featured her latest video here} overall style and of course we love our fellow fashion designer Alexander Wang!

“She exudes a certain rawness that makes her a very unique talent,” Wang told Style.com. “I loved working with her on this video for T Fall 2012, and think the collaboration captures a collision of energies.”

 Hello wonderful That Fashion Chick Lovers!! I, Lakia Fashae', am back from my peaceful and somber vacay in my home town, Anchorage, AK!  Let me tell you, that was greatly needed.  I'm glad you got to get more acquainted with That Fashion Chick intern, Janeese. You know her by her signature, blue font post..she did an AWESOME job!

It has been confirmed that singer, Lana Del Rey is the new face of H&M!  That is GREAT news for Lana Del Rey, being that she recently signed a modeling contract with Next Model Management {Check out her cover issue for New York Times Style Magazine}

They didn't even switch up her personal look for the campaign!  How about her look?!? We are #DiggingHerStyle =D

Look out for the ads now and during H&M's fall campaign as well!

Azaelia Banks covers Paper Magazine

Azaelia Banks is a new hip hop femcee on the rise! She is my type of chick...she lives in her skin. An artist no matter the genre, must never compromise his/her craft!  Banks has already gotten real acquainted with the fashion world too {ie Karl Lagerfeld}.

Banks is featured in the music issue of Paper Magazine. Check out her interview here, and some of her shots with Paper Magazine below!
