Met Gala 2013 Red Carpet {favorite PUNK looks}

Well, hello TFC Lovers I'm just coming off another busy weekend with an off day yesterday {business is picking up!}. The pictures of the Met Gala are out and I'm in  ahhhh! I will say not everyone got the 'punk memo', but overall everyone looked very nice. It was kind of a bummer seeing that alot of celebs played it safe. I was ready to see mohawks, alot of black, and  true engagement in the theme.

Karl Lagerfeld + Cara Delevingne For Melissa Magazine {Watch This!!}

Fashion's fairy God Father Karl Lagerfeld shot {and appears along side} one of fashion's IT-girls, Cara Delevingne, for the cover of Plastic Dreams. This the in-house magazine for shoe giant, Melissa. Karl became a part of the Melissa family after signing a four season deal designing an exclusive collection of shoes for the jelly shoe giant. 

For the ninth issue of the mag, Melissa gave Karl creative direction for the cover and a 30 page spread featuring a 16-page fashion shoot with Cara D wearing looks from the first capsule collection by Karl, including a shoe she wears on top of her pony tail. WOW!! 

A teaser video from the shoot shows Cara "the queen of kooky fashion videos" making faces and putting up bunny ears behind Karl while he pretends to be completely unruffled by Cara, staying cool and collected behind his iconic shades.

Cara Delevingne Scores DKNY Spring 2013 Campaign

British "It" girl, Cara Delevingne, has officially began her stateside style domination starring in DKNY's Spring 2013 ad campaign. After walking in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and recently being named Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards, Delevingne takes Ashley Greene's slot as the face of Donna Karan's younger brand.

The ad {lensed by Patrick Demarchelier} depicts 20-year-old Delevingne taking New York City's busy streets by storm, in the brand's signature sporty-chic styles in bold crayola hues and simple whites.

I must admit, she does the all-American look well.
