It's a Collaboration: Keyshia Cole + Steve Madden {Sneak Peek}

Steve Madden + Keyshia Cole, R&B singer {LOVE her music she’s a great songwriter too} are set to debut their second collaboration very soon! KC shared a snippet of the collection via her IG page as well as a new single {HERE}. From what I’m seeing, the collection is HOT!
The campaign definitely grabs your attention; Keyshia Cole is known to switch up her look a lot.  She's pretty good at hitting the target, for her personal stylehair and beauty are pluses for KC.
This collaboration is a 2014 Spring/Summer Collection featuring cut-out boots {my faves}, strappy heels with vibrant colors and floral prints, as well as a pair of checkered heels with some serious edge appeal {second faves}. Prices are going to be awesome, its Steve Madden

Fashion Find: Party looks to try at TOBI

It's almost party time Chicks! This year I want to try something more subtle and less flashy {opposite...I know}. Check the looks below, which give you an idea of what I'm talking about:

A little nontraditional but you will still make a statement. When you pick subtle garments with nice detail, accessorizing is the real focus.

Plain canvas {main garment} with popping tights, heels, jewelry and/or clutch {go-to party bag}. Paint your canvas through your accessories!

'The Nudes' Collection by Christian Louboutin {GREAT idea!}

Picture: Christian Louboutin
This news is all over the fashion blogosphere! Everyone is talking about the new collection {recently launched} by Christian Louboutin called The Nudes. You know about that trick to match your stockings to your shoes to give the illusion of looking taller {classic fashion trick}? Well, Louboutin has created The Nudes, which consists of heels blending with your skin tone from fair to dark {choose from five different shades}. Louboutin even has an app called Louboutin Shades that takes a picture of your foot and matches your skin tone to one of the listed shades.

“The shoes are there to give the woman an extra lift, not to take attention away from the legs and what she is wearing. They disappear like magic and become a fluid extension of her legs, as in a sketch, elongating the silhouette.”~Christian Louboutin

This collection is an excellent idea. Let's see how long it takes more affordable brands to catch on! Get more information via the Christian Louboutin site HERE!

Jeffery Campbell is making Litas for your wedding {interesting}

This can be kool depending on how you look at it, or your age.

Jeffery Campbell is collaborating with indie shoe e-tailer Ashbury Skies {love them} called "Cold Feet".  Now you special brides can walk down the aisle in major style rocking the ‘oh so popular’ Litas! Interesting right?  Well the heels come in 3 styles: lace, blue velvet and metallic silver...with prices  ranging from $164.95 - $179.95.

Trend Alert!!: Fall/Winter '12

It's that time of year, fall/winter season!  We are about to be layered up in cozy fabrics. I chose some of my favorite trends that were in the September issue of People Style Watch...and there are more on the way!

Check below and leave me a comment if you agree or disagree. =D

Hunter Green- I think this is an excellent color for Fall…on any chick it gives a strong sleek statement. The color is very rich so pairing with almost any color, patterns and textures..you are sure to make a statement.

Ankle Strap Heels- ehh I don’t think I will partake in these styles of heels. I am just not intrigued. It works for some heels {like the ones above} but I am not a fan especially the one’s I have been seeing...the strap can cheapen the shoe, so just me mindful.

Military Details – this trend is classic and not hart to pull off. Have fun with it, make it your personal style in a more unique and modern way {tops, bottoms, dresses and jackets}.

Trumpet hems – I really like this trend. It is a great alternative to the peplum trend. I see that the trumpet hem will play up or balance curves.

Dome Bags - I like the shape. And because of that, be mindful of different prints and fabrications it can cheapen the look. My advice: look for solid colors with great structure detailing. Even the simplest style could be the chicest!

Brocade- this is a great trend I have been seeing a lot lately. It's instant luxe attire. Let whatever brocade piece you wear be your focal point, it should set the tone. Balance with simple but sweet accessories and shoes.
