Saks Fifth Avenue Presents Private Label

Saks Fifth Avenue premiered its in-house brand {Saks Fifth Avenue Men's Collection} spring-summer 2014 collection to international buyers during fashion week at Pitti Uomo, Florence, with the fitting theme of "Distant Journeys."

"We are pleased to present a preview of our next men's collection at Pitti Uomo this season," said Ron Frasch, president and chief merchandising officer, "We want to introduce ourselves to the international market," he said.

The luxury menswear line launched in 2009 under creative director Kim Herring, now the brand is looking to expand the prestige Saks name into new territory. Saks Fifth Avenue's private label {also available for women} was originally only available to it's 42 U.S. stores and franchises in the Middle East (Riyadh, Jeddah and Dubai), Manama (Bahrain), Mexico City and soon in Almaty (Kazakhstan).

Next summer the brand will complete it's ready-to-wear line with outerwear, footwear, accessories and leather. Saks Fifth Avenue prides itself with the use of artisan crafted luxury materials sourced in Italy {including Loro Piana fabrics}, French nappa leather and a touch of denim available in a varied range that even includes denim printed swimwear.
