What: It's a collaboration that is affordable {mostly under $60} woman's apparel that will include accessories and swimwear. Peter Pilotto has landed celebs like Kerry Washington, Selena Gomez and Miranda Kerr on best dressed lists with his designs.

When: February 9, 2014

Where: Target stores and online {US & Canada}. International customers can also purchase selected pieces via Net-A-Porter.

It's a Collaboration: Phillip Lim for Target + Watch This!!

Have you heard about the next Target collaboration?!

It will be with the ever so talented, fashion designer Phillip Lim {clothing line: 3.1 Phillip Lim}! This will be a fall collection that consists of 100 pieces filled with prints and neutral colors as well as a range of items, including travel accessories

Two classic pieces I'm ready to see: the women's trench coat and men's  leather moto jacket.   Prices are ranging from $19.99 - $299.99. This collection hits Target stores and online September 15.

It's a Collaboration: Zac Posen + John Freida {HAIR...}

Zac Posen is trying his talent with hair...color boxes that is!  It's a collaboration between Zac Posen and John Frieda's Precision Foam Colour, to be exact.  Zac Posen is going to use his prints on the packaging. 

These special designed boxes are only available at Target, which will feature one of four prints, handpicked by Posen to complement blonde, brunette, red or black tones {retailing for  $12.99}. That's a good look for you ZP!

It's a Collaboration!!: Prabal Gurung for Target is almost here

 

Oh how we love the collaborations!  Remember we told you about designer house Prabal Gurung working on a collection for Target {watch a couple videos too}?!  The collection swill be available for purchase at Target stores {and online} on February 10.  They are projecting this collaboration to be a HIT, and it should be. The pieces are super Gorge! 

Elle mag has the complete look book, so be sure to check it out here along with prices tags. The collection is very affordable {clothes, shoes and accessories} with most pieces under $50. The priciest piece is a leather jacket for $199.99.

"This is a collection I have imagined and dreamed about for a long time," Gurung explained of his design process. "I am a romantic at heart and truly believe in love. I worked closely with Target to design a collection inspired by romance that is also affordable—the experience was incredible to say the least."

The Collaborations are in full effect! Designer label Parbal Gunung has teamed up with Target. I KNOW this is a collection for That Fashion Chick! Let me give you the quick scoop:

Who: Prabal Gurung + Target 
What: 80 piece collection of clothes, handbags, shoes and jewelry. The collection is inspired by  " a girls journey through the different stages of  love and the clothes she wears during each milestone- from the first date to meeting the parents to the engagement - Prabal Gunrung told A Bullseye View.

It's a Collaboration!!: Neiman Marcus + Target {#GetTheDeal}

 

This has to be the collaboration of the century!!!  Neiman Marcus has teamed up with Target for a range of  holiday products {50} that come from top designers!! These products consist of apparel, home goods, pet supplies and MORE.  The designers were definitely designing outside of their normal design zone. 

Get your list ready. This collaboration is available Dec. 1 at Target and Neiman Marcus stores as well as online.  Don’t forget those staking stuffers!=D

Jason Wu x La Perla Lingerie Line

Jason Wu is everywhere these days, with his soon-to-launch Miss Wu diffusion line at Nordstrom, Orchid Rain candles at Bergdorf Goodman, collection of furniture and home goods for Canvas, and insanely successful Jason Wu for Target line, the Wu girls must be in haven now with all the new things coming from the designer, which will soon include LINGERIE!!!

That's right, Jason Wu has enlisted La Perla for an exclusive line of intimates. The designer revealed to Style.com that Helmut Newton’s notoriously seductive photographs are a key source of inspiration for his new collection leading to the collaboration with La Perla, adding some exotic sex appeal and glamour to his ever evolving super-feminine apparel. The new La Perla pieces will debut during Wu's upcoming Spring 2013 runway show.

“It has been an incredible experience collaborating with La Perla and having access to all the amazing things we could create with their specialized techniques,” Wu told Style.com “They understood my vision for the Spring collection and went above and beyond my expectations in creating the most luxurious accent pieces to go with my designs.”

Roberto Cavalli for Target

According to the Daily Telegraph, Target is about to get a shot of some seriously loud animal prints thanks to a new collaboration with Italian designer Roberto Cavalli. Before you go jumping for joy {like I did lol}, the collection will only be available in Australia stores.

“I’m excited to bring the joyful and positive spirit of my work to a new audience … When I set out to design this collection I had a wonderful party in mind with all women dressed glamorously and sensually,” said Cavalli. “Of course, there will be lots of prints as they are a part of my DNA … My inspiration for prints and for clothes always comes from the wonders of nature — fantasy, colour and fun.”

The Cavalli collaboration is the start of the invigoration of the retailer’s Designers for Target program which as been called "occasional at best" by news sites since the program began in 2007 with Stella McCartney. According to Target Australia’s site, the collection {available October 31} will range from $49 to $129, and will include casual daywear, glamorous party pieces, footwear and swimwear.

The first image of the collection sets a great example of what to expect, showing a glam Karolina Kurkova stepping off what appears to be a yacht in a flirty, zebra-printed dress.....classic Cavalli.

Target + Kirna Zabete Collaboration!!! {Watch This!!}

The latest collaboration for Target is with a popular fashionably, chic boutique in NY called Kirna Zabete {check them out}! That's a bit different from the designer collaborations we are use to.

This collection will launch Sept. 9 with 33 looks in the price range of $9.99 - $99.99. Check out the video below for a preview of the making of the look book!
