2013 Google Zeitgeist: High Fashion, Retailers & Apparel Brands {Fashion Marketing}
A little market research never hurt nobody! Google released its 2013 Google Zeitgeist, which shows most searched fashion brands and labels in the US.
Take a look a the list below:
Most Searched High Fashion Brands
1. Versace
2. Michael Kors
3. Diesel Black Gold
4. Gucci
5. Kate Spade
6. Rachel Zoe
7. Prabal Gurung
8. Givenchy
9. Mulberry
10. Luca Luca
Most Searched Retailer and Apparel Brands
1. Kohl’s
2. JCPenney
3. Nordstrom
4. Forever 21
5. Victoria’s Secret
6. Old Navy
7. Macy’s
8. American Eagle
9. Nike
10. Dillard’s
A few of these names are expected like Versace {"Versace, Versace, Versace!" anyone?} and Gucci. Some of these high fashion brands are closet staples {Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Diesel Black Gold and Mulberry}. Others became more popular {Givenchy}, but ALL have had a great 2013!
The most searched retailer is a no-brainer. Though, retailers like Kohl's and Nordstrom made the Market Forces annual consumer summary.
Through this research, I think I will stick with creating a staple label {when I debut my signature clothing line}! =D

It's a Collaboration!!: Prabal Gurung for Target is almost here
Oh how we love the collaborations! Remember we told you about designer house Prabal Gurung working on a collection for Target {watch a couple videos too}?! The collection swill be available for purchase at Target stores {and online} on February 10. They are projecting this collaboration to be a HIT, and it should be. The pieces are super Gorge!
Elle mag has the complete look book, so be sure to check it out here along with prices tags. The collection is very affordable {clothes, shoes and accessories} with most pieces under $50. The priciest piece is a leather jacket for $199.99.

"This is a collection I have imagined and dreamed about for a long time," Gurung explained of his design process. "I am a romantic at heart and truly believe in love. I worked closely with Target to design a collection inspired by romance that is also affordable—the experience was incredible to say the least."

The Collaborations are in full effect! Designer label Parbal Gunung has teamed up with Target. I KNOW this is a collection for That Fashion Chick! Let me give you the quick scoop:
Who: Prabal Gurung + Target
What: 80 piece collection of clothes, handbags, shoes and jewelry. The collection is inspired by " a girls journey through the different stages of love and the clothes she wears during each milestone- from the first date to meeting the parents to the engagement - Prabal Gunrung told A Bullseye View.
