Here are some sketches of mine from 2010 or 2011 {I want to say 2011}. This was an evolution once I started getting the hang of sketching and applying the techniques I was taught. Now sketching is like meditation for me {I be in my zone}.

Celebrity Halloween Costumes 2011

I must say the celebrity costumes were pretty hilarious and very creative this year.  Let's just say the make up was on pretty thick ...and worked!

While I was watching the runway video of Dolce & Gabbana's 2011 Fall Collection, I was jotting down notes in amazement.  This collection is nothing short from HOT!

This may not be your exact style, but you can pull inspiration from this collection.  Rock it how you feel comfortable and in a way it fits your personal style best.

Check out my notes below:

• Be sure to Layer! (Makes a look complete and put together)
• Tight but loose pants in the crotch (use your discretion)
• Bright colors will be popping!
• Mix your patterns (lightly)
• Mix styles (ex. preppy with edgy)
• Must get pieces: vest, blazer, wool lined jackets. 

Alexander Wang Fall 2011 Collection

Fall is just about here being that summer is just about over.  We have to make sure we know what's up for fall fashion!

Fall fashion is my favorite season! I love the layering and chicness of it.  More pieces equal more play. I have been watching the runway and I will share a few designers that inspired me for this season coming up.

This is Alexander Wang's Fall 2011 Collection below.  I love the silhouettes and the play on fabrics.  The shin pads mixed with sandal are HOT.  The woman wearing these clothes is edgy-chic, displays plenty of confidence and loves the play on mixing different styles of clothing that fits her mood.  I Likey!!

Rachel Zoe's new line is here!!!

Ok, this is not too much of a surprise.  Any true fashionista knew it was only a matter of time, that mommy-to-be; Rachel Zoe would also take the role as Fashion Designer along with amazing wardrobe stylist.  Along with adding this to her already full plate, Rachel is due in March with her first child, a boy! Congrats to her.  With so much on her plate she still manages it all.

This has to be greatly anticipated because top retailers including: Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Ave, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales and Intermix already put in their orders.  I hope I get that kind of response when I debut my RTW line. Lol

Rachel Zoe’s line is a contemporary collection that channels her favorite era, the seventies.  Style.com is the first to unveil her entire collection.   The line is Haute.  The pieces are great with detailing, stylish and womanly.  This woman wearing this line has to be a girl with style already, and puts the CONFIDEDNCE with the STRUT.  I will take one of each in a size 2 please!
