Betsey's Back At NYFW!!!

Last week, Betsey Johnson publicly announced that she was “taking the FW13 [show] season off to focus on brand expansion,” including a fragrance launch and new reality show. Well, it appears that Betsey has changed her mind! According to a release, the designer is scheduled to show on Feb. 11th at 5 p.m at the tents at Lincoln Center.

“I just could not stay away from fashion week,” Johnson said. “I wanted to do this for myself and for all of my fans to show that I’ve still got it and I am not going anywhere.”

The cancellation of the Johnson's runway show did spark a little worry {considering her recent bankruptcy filling} but we're very happy to hear {and see} that Betsey will not be stopped. Besides, New York Fashion Week really wouldn't be the same without her famous cartwheels!!!

We love you BJ, keep going hard!!! XOX

The CFDA's winners and honorees! {Watch This!!}

The 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards {Celebrating 50 Years!!!} took place Monday, June 4 at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. I previously told you I was so anticipating this day and one day I too will be a part of the winners and honorees list. The CFDA's are like the Oscars for the fashion world, so I need that statue!

“This year’s awards were particularly special,” said CFDA President Diane von Furstenberg. “We honored the best talent working in American fashion today and celebrated CFDA’s 50th Anniversary and the impact of our family of designers.”

“A CFDA Fashion Award is one of the most coveted awards in our industry,” said CFDA CEO Steven Kolb. “This annual event is the one night we come together to celebrate our own.”

The CFDA's turned out to be a great show. Style.com actually did something new and broadcasted the entire ceremony online. You can still check it out here! Check out red carpet shots below as well as the winners and honorees list!
