What: Alexa Chung {as Creative Director} is debuting a cosmetic collaboration with Eeyko that will allow her AC Lovers to recreate her signature makeup look. It will be a limited edition gift set, in which she helped design the cool packaging that displays her signature cat-eye.

When: November 14, 2013

Where: Exclusively on Eyeko.com and Selfridges {in London}...Sephora stores {US} in January 2014

Price: $39.50 {affordable investment}





Chung describes her new budge-proof liner as having “the perfect shape and size to give you control,” giving users “the precision to draw on the perfect cat eye.” She adds, “It’s pitch black and waterproof so it doesn’t move even on the waterline.” As for the water-resistant mascara, Chung says it “stays on forever but feels amazing thanks to all the lash-enhancing magic in the mix.”

I'm sure this is just the beginning for Alexa!

Facebook Inspired Eye Shadow

The latest beauty collaboration is inspired by Facebook and comes from YSL. While others use Facebook to offer special giveaways and collect feedback on their products, YSL’s newest limited edition eye shadow palette was truly inspired Facebook {blue, purple, grey and white}. According to Kiss and Makeup, only 1,650 of these were produced. You can get one of the “Pure Chromatics Devoted To Fans” palettes on YSL’s Facebook page starting July 19th.

This is a cool concept that could turn in to a cute new little trend, followed up with Twitter and Pinterest cosmetics...I "like" the sound of that, how about you?

Karl Lagerfeld is doing beauty {Limited Edition}

Karl Lagerfeld is releasing a limited edition beauty collection set to be released as a holiday collection this November!

Lagerfeld is partnering with beauty company, Shu Uemura, for the launch. Mr. Lagerfeld is also using his creative mojo on the packaging.  The line will consist of 17 products and of course the theme has some kind of Karl inspiration.  It's said to be 'iconic, iconic Karl style'.

Here's the bummer...the collection is only available in Shu Uemura stores, which are all over the water.  Let's pray for an online miracle.  But, yet another one for Karl Lagerfeld!

M.A.C has a new collection set to debut on May 24th!  The new collection is called "Hey Sailor!". It is a nautical themed collection that will have you ready to sail & in style!

The "Hey Sailor!" collection will include: lip stick, gloss, eye shadows, bronzers, nail polish and much more.  You know M.A.C will have everything needed to create the best doll face!

I love when designers expand their brands and add totally new products!

It looks like Marc Jacobs, Mr. jack-of-all-trades, will be  launching a makeup line, and it may be with Sephora.  Two amazing brands...this should be good!

“Anything to me that is part of the joy, the ritual, of getting dressed — things that women enjoy like bags, shoes, fragrance, clothes, makeup — that’s what fashion’s about for me,” Jacobs told WWD. “I love the opportunity, wherever there is one, to adorn, to decorate, to scent, to dress. That’s what fashion’s all about. It’s not necessary, it’s something you want — it’s a fancy and a whim.”

There has not been a release date as of yet, but of course I will keep you updated!
