2014 Grammys Red Carpet Favorite Looks

 The 56th Grammy Awards took place last night January 26, 2014 at the  Staples Center  in Los Angeles, California. I was kinda surprised to see a more elegant red carpet...I wanted to see a bit more edge {not worst dress looks, but I won't go there}. 

The red carpet looks were super GORGE and it seemed to be more about metallic, sheers & lace...more traditional looks {it's about the lady-look in 2014 remember:)}. I picked a few of my faves below!

Cover Girl recruits Janelle Monae' and Pink {Watch This!!}

The latest person to be announced as a spokesmodel for Cover Girl, is Janelle Monae'!  Isn't she GORGE!

You may be familiar with the 26 year old Grammy Award winning artist, by her signature faux-hawk like bun and feminine tuxedos. #DiggingHerStyle!

"I believe it's time that women truly owned their superpowers and used their beauty and strength to change the world around me," Monáe said in a press release. "Becoming a CoverGirl is truly and honor and a gift: it opens up a new platform for me to inspire women to feel stronger, braver and more beautiful inside and out.”

Monae's ad debuts this month via a 10 page advertisement in September issue of Vogue!

Other famous chicks Cover Girl recruited like Pink {announced last week check video below} Taylor Swift, Sofia Vergara and Ellen DeGeneres.
