🙏Fashion Life: Closing-Out 2018

For the past three years I have suffered in silence, because no one believed me or even cared about my cry for help.  Hate, jealousy and envy is a huge part of my life and at one point suffocated me. See, I trusted people to be true like their word and each time they eventually failed me.  I have been set up and fired from 2 jobs within 1 year {I had a great job for 8 years learning business and growing...}. It's funny because they are always pleased with me though they can't control me {what it boils down to}.  Harassment is a big part of my life, but it's fine because I fight for my soul daily.  

What  I'm saying is, I'm breaking my silence and claiming my life back regardless of the backlash. Enough is enough. I go for what I want, and that will never change.  This fashion life journey is real. The main thing I learned is: "when someone shows you who they are, believe them."  

In 2019, time is up for all the people trying to keep me quiet and hidden with bully tactics. They KNOW I'm a class act  and want to keep the peace.  Remember this: one person can make a change in the system {I did!😏}.  Unbalanced negative energy must cease. It's people with negative perspectives who can be manipulated.  Be mindful because your soul depends on your discernment.  No I don't want to sign your contracts:  I'm staying INDEPENDENT.

Moving forward...

My collection is almost finished!! Though I've decided to change the name.  It was called Roses Spring Collection S/S 2019.  This name is symbolic to my past years tribulations...me saying I will bloom regardless.  Inspired by Tupac Shakur's poem:

The Rose That Grew from Concrete

The new name is called: The Fashae Capsule Collection Spring/Summer 2019 . An update will be posted soon!

There are so many parts to TFC. I've been waiting for the right time to do this...share the complete design process.  Well, enough to show how I came up with this new collection. I'm thinking it's going to be a capsule collection ("a few essential items of clothing that don't go out of fashion").

{1} soft blazer, sexy~top and lightweight sweatpants. {2} fitted dress with a-line shape.

I really want to make the blazer and sexy~top; I already made the pants.  Next Studio L. Fashae post will be drafting, and sewing these pieces.

Update: I just found-out my grade for Online Retailing....a C!!! On my Dynamics of Fashion I made a B- ...Ya'll if you see the data I provide and the presentation, you would see otherwise.  They do not have the vision. I promise they just want to keep us in a box holding on to scraps. My work is clear and efficient. I know I'm better than my professors. They are in a fraternity so art is not the forefront,but that's okay. Thank you God I know what I'm working. I want to quit school, because these dumb professors loss the art of fashion, but its all good, God has the LAST SAY!!! 😂

Getting in my executive mode...TFC professionalism 

{🎨where creativity speaks out🎭}.

I been up all night, all last week to produce some of my best work - to date! 

👄Dynamics of Fashion: act as a fashion consultant for a fashion company. Create a presentation of data collected, including a SWOT analysis {strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats}. This is a 15-page paper on Express, Inc.  Express is a consistent fashion retailer that is one of the most fashion forward companies on the market. Their business profile is very impressive...I took notes for TFC too! 😁 {learn for the best, to be the best} 🤓

Scentful Chic is my fragrance company!

👄Online Retailing and E-commerce: create a brand in a fashion category and develop a Three-Month Peak Season E-commerce Plan. I developed a written report {Scentful Chic - 33 pages}, Power Point {45 Slides} and an E-commerce website {A LOT of stuff and functionality 😅}, and then present.  

After all this work, I didn't want to see a keyboard, computer screen, notebook, sticky note...heck I didn't want to get on the Internet at all! 😂 

Sheesh, that's a lot of work to focus on.

You know I like to keep you updated.

Now, I'm focused on plans for 2020, and this includes product.  TFC product is ready but school is taking a lot of time and focus.  

When the product hits the market, I want to make videos, special post and just be all in ya face lol.  It's coming...just stay tuned and support ya chick! 💟

I have 6 more looks to do, with 6 completed! This is the fun part...brainstorming ideas.💡

I'm making all of the samples myself before 💼 outsourcing a manufacturing company.  With a few companies in mind, I'll cross that production bridge when it's time {made in USA}.

✂For now, more fabrics are expanding my design options and testing my creativity.

These two looks got mixed up.  Smh, and I don't feel like 

re-sketching.😆 You know how you come up with ideas, and mid process new ideas pop-up.  Yeah...

So, I'm working on the tulip skirt.  This will be interesting!💃
