🌞 9 Summer Styles {2019}

The current season is still, officially summer 
so whatchu rockin?  

I have a list of items to inspire your wardrobe. 
These pieces can be worn individually or paired properly. 
 The idea is to choose items that fit your personal style!

When styling tie dye, think "free, comfortable style!"

This watercolor design has been around for a while.  Tie dye is found throughout all garment types: shirts, pants, shorts, jackets, shoes and accessories.  The style idea is to put your own spin on this classic, giving a refreshed concept to this look.

Self explanatory, right? Simple sandals have minimal detail and/or attractive colors.  The style idea is to translate a style language of effortless appeal {heels or flats}.

Wearing a tea dress makes every chick feel like a lade.
This dress is usually found in dainty prints and flowy fabrics.  The hemline is long or short with stylish sleeves and necklines.  Tea dresses are versatile and can be worn for most occasions.

Big bags are stylish, but miniature bags are fun!

They incorporate another level of chic.  When picking a miniature bags, think detail: strap, handle, closures, pattern, lining, pockets and shape.  A miniature bags absorbs style, nonchalantly.

This dress gives off a sexy, mystique appeal!
Notice I chose maxi dress.  The length can be calf or ankle - fitted or flared.  Pick styles that compliment your shape.  Styles with asymmetrical hemlines are appealing.

 

Everyone looks good in pastels!  

These are cool and soft colors,  for the summer atmosphere.  Pastels add a vibrant vibe to your look, sparking a subtle joy to your mood, and to onlookers.

The straw bag is not a typical style choice.  

It adds class and personality to your look {something different, but thought-out}.  When choosing a stylish straw bag, structure is key {less bulk, the better}.

Slouchy trousers are comfy-chic!

Instead of going for the usual skinny pants or classic denim, try a pair of slouchy trousers.  The fabric should be lightweight and moveable.  This style of pants can be worn day and night, depending on shoes and accessories.

Wear round frames with gazing colors!  

Instead of a dark shade or classic lens, try round frames with different colors like red, green, purple, yellow or even orange.  make your look standout that much more.

🙏Fashion Life: Closing-Out 2018

For the past three years I have suffered in silence, because no one believed me or even cared about my cry for help.  Hate, jealousy and envy is a huge part of my life and at one point suffocated me. See, I trusted people to be true like their word and each time they eventually failed me.  I have been set up and fired from 2 jobs within 1 year {I had a great job for 8 years learning business and growing...}. It's funny because they are always pleased with me though they can't control me {what it boils down to}.  Harassment is a big part of my life, but it's fine because I fight for my soul daily.  

What  I'm saying is, I'm breaking my silence and claiming my life back regardless of the backlash. Enough is enough. I go for what I want, and that will never change.  This fashion life journey is real. The main thing I learned is: "when someone shows you who they are, believe them."  

In 2019, time is up for all the people trying to keep me quiet and hidden with bully tactics. They KNOW I'm a class act  and want to keep the peace.  Remember this: one person can make a change in the system {I did!😏}.  Unbalanced negative energy must cease. It's people with negative perspectives who can be manipulated.  Be mindful because your soul depends on your discernment.  No I don't want to sign your contracts:  I'm staying INDEPENDENT.

Moving forward...

My collection is almost finished!! Though I've decided to change the name.  It was called Roses Spring Collection S/S 2019.  This name is symbolic to my past years tribulations...me saying I will bloom regardless.  Inspired by Tupac Shakur's poem:

I love Pinterest.  It's another way for fashion bloggers, to store a bunch of images and ideas, in an organized space {without storage overload}.

I was going to do a recap of 2018 fashion trends. Instead, we will reflect on red carpets; a place to spot trends.💃

With that being said...TFC has a segment called "That Fashion Chick or That Ain't IT!?". I picked looks I really like, without cruel intentions.  Even with specific styles, people still tell me --"NO, That Ain't IT!"

Keep this in mind:  when judging red carpets, there is no standard.  It all depends on event dress-code/theme and personal style.

🌞Fashion Trends for Summer 2018

Summer is officially June 21, 2018.   

Let me give you a heads up on the trends we are digging!

Thinking of the 80's... big hair, bright colors,  

eye~popping print and neon makeup come to mind.  

👀Surprise, The 80's are back!  We can recreate some 

of the biggest trends of that time, now. 

Bring out the acid wash denim, almost oversized 

everything when it comes to style aesthetic. 

Personal style looks include: Sporty, Punk Rock, Gothic,  

Preppy and Hip hop.

Brighten your day with a 🎨popping color palette. 

Try orange with yellow...green with blue...and have fun with prints. 

Bright colors are summer's staple. Give your look a cool 2018 twist.

Waist belts are a great go to accessory. 

It will define your waistline and add a certain chic appeal. 

Have fun with different sizes and styles.

I love fanny packs! The belt bag upgrades 

this popular classic. Some styles are worn across 

the body, as well as hip-to-waist. 

You can Chic it up or sport it out!

Transparency can be great, especially with style!  

Try this trend with accessories, stylish outerwear and

 as an embellishment.  Wear a solid under-layer if 

you need too. 😉 

The side-opposite to bright colors, are pastels. 

Wear this trend with a vibe of serenity.  

Pastels work best with dainty and girly styles

 

Try upping your style appeal with  

Vintage florals. This trend gives off a  

rustic feel, and is popular on flowing fabrics.

 We are stamping this trend!  

The simplest detail can create an overall look.   

Details should drop hints of you. 

Speak that fashion language and allow 

your personal style to shine.
