It's a Collaboration!!: Tokidoki + Karl Lagerfeld new figure coming soon! {Watch This!!}

I thought this was something kool to share. Karl Lagerfeld is at  it again. He has another collectible figure coming soon. The figure Mr. Black that was released March 1, 2013 and this little figure is all over Lagerfeld's Paris boutique.

This collaboration is between Tokidok + Karl Lagerfeld. I'm not sure if this is the second or third {more so third}, because I found another figure but all my research is led me to international sites with no translation option..copy and paste in google translator #aintnotbodygottimeforthat! lol



 

They only released 150 pieces of Mr. Black, so I guess we have to see what comes about for the new figure. It's is kool way for designers to extend their fashion sense!

I think {not for certain} the next figure is going to be Lagerfeld AND the cat. Hmmm!

The Karl by Karl Lagerfeld collection is here! If you have no idea what I'm talking about, get a quick update here.

So Karl has launched, and exclusively with Net-A-Porter.  It was really cute how Net-A-Porter and Karl Lagerfeld came up with great promotion on the site, keeping you wondering about the collection. I am impressed, but come on it's Karl Lagerfeld, so its really a no-brainer. 

Karl Lagerfeld kind of expressing himself...to himself. He is opening up a bit and some interesting points he made include:

• He does not like the word muse
• He works by instinct and being himself

 Karl Lagerfeld is pretty modest, and I can appreciate that.  You do know he is the creative mind behind Chanel TOO don't you?!

Fashion has its SUITS

The fashion industry has been having its share of drama that's been going around lately, i.e. John Galiano. Although, that is not nearly as drama-filled and this situation. This has to do with copyright infringement. 


Popular shoe designer to the stars, Christian Louboutin, is suing his fellow iconic designer, Yves Saint Laurent, over using his signature red soles and selling the shoes in the same select Manhattan stores. Talk about adding insult to injury.


The "red sole" has been a Christian Louboutin signature since he stepped on the fashion scene with his boutique in 1991.  In 2008, Louboutin trademarked the design here in America.
