Okay Chicks I have been working so hard for you! I've been putting together TFCB {That Fashion Chick Boutique} and it's coming together very well. This is new for me, making all of the necessary items  for an e-commerce from scratch...I LOVE IT!!

Lady Gaga covers 4 covers for V Magazine {Fall Issue}

Lady Gaga is on four covers of V Magazine's Fall 2013 issue. I'm not sure if it's the September issue, but her new album ArtPop comes out in September {though another source is reporting Nov.}so she has perfect timing, again! Lady Gaga is back, or should I say 'strikes back' at the scene with a new look... actually we never know which one will stick..its Gaga.  

I like her different looks for the covers, in which she almost looks unrecognizable. It's a more toned down Gaga {I like over-the-top Gaga too}. The shots were taken by Inez &Vinoodh Check out all covers below!

And now special media platforms have been added {Cityblis Media Center}...that's alot of levels in fashion all in one...we love it! This includes designers, journalist, bloggers, and others able to publish links to their articles on the Cityblis Press Page.  

Cityblis is giving designers a voice and enabling journalist to get fresh updated content. They have high resolution images, videos, livefeeds, product launches, event invitations and so on...!

Fashion Inspiration: Stroke of Genius {Vogue Paris}

I came across some really inspiring art by some of the greatest to ever do it. Maaaan my sketches are kool, but these sketches HERE have me drooling {okay-not literally} but yeah ,just amazing!

When I need some fashion inspiration, I go back to the basics, the art of fashion. Sketches are the beginning of the magic, and when it all comes alive a love affair is formed between body and garment {yesss its that serious lol}. I love my industry even more after checking out these sketches on Vogue Paris. Look at what I mean and be inspired! =D

OMG!! M.I.A is my Chick! I love everything M.I.A has done since 'Paper Planes' and a few things before that. She is a political artist, but true artist have a reason to be seen & heard. I dig this chick's style from her fashion to her flow...dopeness!

This chick is rocking a 'hair web' on her back, pink hair, embellished nails and she is serving the camera. We posted 'Bad Girls' a while back and it was kool and creative. 'Bring the Noize' delivers as well, check it out!

It's a Collaboration!!: Tokidoki + Karl Lagerfeld new figure coming soon! {Watch This!!}

I thought this was something kool to share. Karl Lagerfeld is at  it again. He has another collectible figure coming soon. The figure Mr. Black that was released March 1, 2013 and this little figure is all over Lagerfeld's Paris boutique.

This collaboration is between Tokidok + Karl Lagerfeld. I'm not sure if this is the second or third {more so third}, because I found another figure but all my research is led me to international sites with no translation option..copy and paste in google translator #aintnotbodygottimeforthat! lol



 

They only released 150 pieces of Mr. Black, so I guess we have to see what comes about for the new figure. It's is kool way for designers to extend their fashion sense!

I have fantastic news fashion chicks, H&M has heard our cries!

Let me first say H&M is planning on expanding their brand MAJORLY. They will be opening like 40 stores in 2013 alone!

H&M already has 269 stores in the U.S. alone. They're making sure America's 300 million + population is fully aware of the brand. Get this, H&M is going to FINALLY launch a U.S. e-commerce site this summer!!

Designer Inspiration: Fashion History {1700-1900} + Christian Dior {TBT}

As you may know, today is TBT online {Throw Back Thursday}.  What better way to talk fashion than to start from the beginning...well not the complete beginning, but some kool eras {designer inspiration}!

After watching the video above...find out the reason French designer, Christian Dior is so monumental in fashion history.  You can't talk fashion history without Dior...this was definitely on ALL the tests. {Hint: New Look, 1947}
