Interesting news going on in the fashion industry. Here is a great article and discussion piece:  Hip Hop artist on the rise, Azealia Banks, feels that the fashion industry eats up new artist and spits them out for the next {I'm paraphrasing here...a little strong lol}.

Honestly artist should never allow another industry or situation to outshine the very reason they hit their certain platform.  You got to roll with the punches too, because the fashion industry can be brutal...for real.

Asos' Christmas Campaign with Azelia Banks {Watch This!!}

With Christmas right around the corner, it's time for the for the seasonal campaigns. Online retailer Asos has launched their Christmas campaign staring singer Elle Goulding, model Charlotte Free and hip-hop artist Azealia Banks. 

The campaign is aimed towards social media networks. These three stars will be giving interviews, posting photos & videos, as well as offering fashion and beauty advice through Instagram, Facebook and other popular social media sites.

Azealia Banks' controversial cover for Dazed & Confused + {Watch This!!}

Azealia Banks' star is rising...that's for sure!

You see she is featured {below} on the cover of the September issue of Dazed & Confused magazine, which has been banned in 7 countries! {uhh..hmm. we see why #nocomment lol} Banks appears to be "smoking" an inflated condom, while rather smoothly, giving off the finger.

Azealia Banks also dropped another video, 'Van Vogue', off her '1991' EP.  I like the song and she is looking great {never too extra} and the mermaid hair is on heavy-flow. Check it out!

It looks like femcee rapper on the rise, Azealia Banks has scored another break in the fashion industry! 

Azealia Banks is the new face for the T by Alexander Wang campaign. That's a good look for both parties. We are digging Azealia Banks' { we recently featured her latest video here} overall style and of course we love our fellow fashion designer Alexander Wang!

“She exudes a certain rawness that makes her a very unique talent,” Wang told Style.com. “I loved working with her on this video for T Fall 2012, and think the collaboration captures a collision of energies.”

Azaelia Banks is a new hip hop femcee on the rise! She is my type of chick...she lives in her skin. An artist no matter the genre, must never compromise his/her craft!  Banks has already gotten real acquainted with the fashion world too {ie Karl Lagerfeld}.
