It wasn't until one of my favorite celebrities turned designer,
Gwen Stefani, brought
Japan's culture of style to the main stream of America. Its
Harajuku baby!! I was in high school at the time, but as soon as I started college (not too long after the introduction) I was on a hunt to really dissect this style of fashion.
I am always inspired by the
Harajuku style. I love the creativity of having fun with the clothes, shoes and accessories. It's full on fashion from head to toe. This style of fashion defines the true meaning of expression. This is the norm in
Japan, but a HUGE head turner in America. lol
