New Shoe Guru!? Nicholas Kirkwood

 This January Nicholas Kirkwood became the first accessories designer to win the BFC/VogueDesigner Fashion Fund, beating out ready-to-wear designers like Mary Katrantzou and Peter Pilotto. Now, the New York Post is crowning him the new Manolo.”  {WOW!!!} 

Kirkwood's new collection is full of a playful mixture of traditional, really luxurious materials {python, lace, suede and furs}. I love the innovation in the design of his shoes and from what I've seen, I could definitely see him stepping into that title. See a few of my faves below...

Rag & Bone opens its first store in Europe

Rag-Bone.com: Designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright
Contemporary label Rag & Bone is making it's British debut. Their first Europian flagship will open {offering the entire range of mens' and womenswear} at Sloane Street {13 and 14} in London by the end of the month. The British Fashion Council invited the design duo David Neville and Marcus Wainwright {British natives} to present their spring-summer 2013 collection at London Fashion Week, a week after their September 7th show in New York, to celebrate their "home coming".

Rag & Bone signed a 10 year lease for the store on Sloane Street, whereTom Ford,  Alberta Ferretti and, the well-known on-trend luxury label, Browns will have store fronts.
