Blogging isn't just something I do. It's how I think.
Long before short-form videos, livestreams, algorithms, and endless scrolling became the center of the internet, there were blogs. They weren't chasing trends every hour. They were places where people could sit down, explore ideas, tell stories, ask questions, and create communities that felt personal.
That spirit is what made me start That Fashion Chick, and it's still the heartbeat of everything I create today.
More Than Fashion
When people hear the word fashion, they often think about clothes first.
I think about conversations.
Fashion has always been bigger than what hangs in a closet. It's connected to history, culture, technology, identity, business, sustainability, creativity, and the everyday decisions we make before we walk out the door.
Blogging gave me the freedom to explore all of those connections without squeezing everything into sixty seconds.
Some stories deserve room to breathe.
Why I Never Wanted to Be "Just Another Fashion Blog"
One thing I've learned over the years is that fashion doesn't only belong to designers, celebrities, editors, or influencers.
It belongs to all of us.
Every purchase, every outfit, every trend we embrace or reject becomes part of the industry's story.
That's why That Fashion Chick has always focused on making fashion feel approachable instead of exclusive.
Whether we're discussing luxury brands, emerging designers, consumer habits, digital fashion, or why your favorite pair of jeans makes you feel unstoppable, the conversation matters because you are part of fashion's ecosystem.
Blogging Has Changed... And That's Okay
The blogging world looks very different than it did when I first started.
Today we have:
- Podcasts 🎙️
- YouTube 📺
- Newsletters 💌
- Communities 💬
- Livestreams 📱
- Apps 📲
- AI 🤖
Some people see those as replacements for blogging.
I see them as extensions of it.
A blog can become a podcast discussion.
A podcast can inspire a YouTube episode.
A YouTube video can spark a community conversation.
A community discussion can become the next article.
For me, blogging isn't disappearing.
It's evolving.
The Next Chapter of That Fashion Chick
As many of you know, That Fashion Chick is growing into something much bigger than a traditional blog.
It's becoming an entire fashion ecosystem.
A place where articles, videos, podcasts, creative projects, educational resources, community experiences, and product design all connect together.
The blog is still home.
But now it's also the front door to a much larger world.
I'm excited because this new chapter allows us to explore fashion from every angle while keeping the heart of what made this community special in the first place: curiosity.

Whether you've published five posts or five thousand...
Whether your audience is five people or five million...
Your words matter.
Your perspective matters.
The internet doesn't need another copy of someone else's voice.
It needs yours.
Keep writing.
