I didn't want to make something that sounded finished. Polished songs are easy to find — I wanted something that still had the mess in it.

Raw Desire is ten tracks about wanting things you can't fully explain, and not cleaning that up for anyone. It starts loud — a heartbeat under a hook you can't shake — and slowly lets its guard down from there. Somewhere in the middle it slows way down, gets a little sensual, a little unhurried. Then it loses control on purpose for a while. By the end, it's just honest. Quiet, even.

I sequenced it like a night you can't fully explain the next day — the parts you flexed through, the parts you didn't plan, the part where you finally stop performing and just feel it.

💖National Blogger's Day: Why I'm Still Blogging in a World That Keeps Changing

Every year on National Blogger's Day, I'm reminded of one simple truth:

Blogging isn't just something I do. It's how I think.

Long before short-form videos, livestreams, algorithms, and endless scrolling became the center of the internet, there were blogs. They weren't chasing trends every hour. They were places where people could sit down, explore ideas, tell stories, ask questions, and create communities that felt personal.

That spirit is what made me start That Fashion Chick, and it's still the heartbeat of everything I create today.

More Than Fashion

When people hear the word fashion, they often think about clothes first.

I think about conversations.

Fashion has always been bigger than what hangs in a closet. It's connected to history, culture, technology, identity, business, sustainability, creativity, and the everyday decisions we make before we walk out the door.

Blogging gave me the freedom to explore all of those connections without squeezing everything into sixty seconds.

Some stories deserve room to breathe.

Why I Never Wanted to Be "Just Another Fashion Blog"

One thing I've learned over the years is that fashion doesn't only belong to designers, celebrities, editors, or influencers.

It belongs to all of us.

Every purchase, every outfit, every trend we embrace or reject becomes part of the industry's story.

That's why That Fashion Chick has always focused on making fashion feel approachable instead of exclusive.

Whether we're discussing luxury brands, emerging designers, consumer habits, digital fashion, or why your favorite pair of jeans makes you feel unstoppable, the conversation matters because you are part of fashion's ecosystem.

Blogging Has Changed... And That's Okay

The blogging world looks very different than it did when I first started.

For years, That Fashion Chick has been my home on the internet.

It's where I've shared my thoughts about fashion, celebrated creativity, asked questions about the industry, and invited you into conversations that go far beyond what we're wearing.

What started as a blog slowly became something bigger.

Not because I planned every detail from the beginning, but because this community kept showing me what was possible.

Lately, you may have noticed little hints that something new is taking shape.

That's intentional.

I've been building what I believe is the natural next chapter of That Fashion Chick.

The best way I can describe it is this...

The blog is our train station.

It's where we meet.

That part isn't changing.

The blog will continue to be public.
