It's a Collaboration!!: Kanye West + A.P.C {complete collection for men}

It came and went…that quick! Remember I told you Kanye West’s latest fashion endeavor is a collaboration collection with French brand A.P.C? Well, it debuted July 14th online via A.P.C’s website which CRASHED shortly after! #Kanyeeffect
No worries tho, you can pre-order the next delivery of Kanye’s A.P.C collection here.
They have a plain white t-shirt for $120yeap that pretty much sets the tone for the collection. Other pieces include: a short sleeve hoodie {$250}, a Trippy Symphony t-shirt made with street wear brand Been Trill {$140}, long sleeve hoodie {$280}, and jeans {$265}.
This collection did have some difficulties via Fashionista:
Jean Touitou { himself has commented on the difficulty of working with West. “When you deal with a guy who wants to redesign just about anything so it could fit [into the] kingdom of dopeness, it takes some time to just sit and say, ‘Okay, agreed, but let’s get start on something limited, and we’ll see,’” he told Style.com. “I just love the guy, so whatever,” he added. “He could want a piece to be baggy and skinny at the same time… [but] oh well, you just find a way.”

DW by Kanye West!!

I previously reported about the talented artist, Kanye West,  allegedly working on a women's wear line in Paris. All of the talk was very true!

Kanye West debuted his highly anticipated women's line, DW by Kanye West (in memory of his late mother Dr. Donda West) for Spring 2012 at Paris' Fashion Week on October 1, 2011.

Familiar faces were in the building sitting front row showing their support including Ciara, Jared Leto, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Anna Wintour, Sky Ferreira and Lindsay Lohan.  Fellow designers were there, Jeremy Scott, Alexander Wang and Sylvia Fendi.  Top models Chanel Iman, Karlie Kloss, Jourdan Dunn and Abbey Lee Kershaw all strutted down the runway in style.

Kanye West had some things to say:
“I’m so scared, I’m so nervous. The biggest conversation I hope I can end tonight is the whole ‘celebrity designer’ thing… That’s the biggest hurdle when you want to get amazing people to work for you.”
"Thank you for anybody that didn't believe, because they motivated us to break our boundaries," he said. "We don't know what the reviews will be, we don't know what they will say, but I got a chance to go to Italy and feel those fabrics. I begged Louis Vuitton to let me do more shoes after my shoes sold out in two weeks, and they did not. I begged Nike, I begged this company to let me do it. And I took out motherf--king loans to get the best models, to get the best designers, to get the best venue. I gave you everything that I had."

If you've been keeping up with my blog, you know my love for celebrities turning into designers is very thin.  Kanye West is a true artist in all aspects, just allowing himself to be free with his talents.  The last statement above puts the icing on the cake for me.  He really went hard for this line and I respect that, just like Gwen Stefani and Jessica Simpson.

Kanye West the designer

Okay so who did not see this coming??  Well I did!  Not only did I see this coming, I was really anticipating a clothing line from Mr. West.

According to ELLEuk, Kanye West is launching a ready-to-wear label for women.  He is working with British designer Louise Goldin, in her London studio.  The line is expected to launch during New York Fashion Week.

This kind of makes sense.  Kanye West is a regular at fashion shows here and abroad, he interned with Louis Vuitton and had a limited addition of sneakers through Louis Vuitton.  It seems like he has been preparing himself for this.  SMART.  I can appreciate that.  I like when entertainers take time to appreciate the art of fashion, instead of just slapping their name on a line and calling themselves a designer.

I can't wait to see this line.  Kanye West is a true artist so I know he will deliver!
