Pantone Announces Radiant Orchid as 2014's Color of the Year!! {we LOVE it}

Photo: Pantone

Pantone announced the color of the year for 2014...it's Radiant Orchid!!!! OMG!! The color for 2013 is Emerald, which is a beautiful color, but I was so ready to see purple as the IT color.

 People have been wearing a lot of purple this year...
remember my post about the Obamas {HERE} & my post right after the New Year about purple {HERE}. Either way I'll take it...2014 is going to be a SUPER stylish year!

Read a couple excerpts from Pantone's Press Release:
“While the 2013 color of the year, PANTONE 17-5641 Emerald, served as a symbol of growth, renewal and prosperity, Radiant Orchid reaches across the color wheel to intrigue the eye and spark the imagination,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. “An invitation to innovation, Radiant Orchid encourages expanded creativity and originality, which is increasingly valued in today’s society.”

“An enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, Radiant Orchid inspires confidence and emanates great joy, love and health. It is a captivating purple, one that draws you in with its beguiling charm.”

Read the Press Release in full HERE. It explains why this color will be good for fashion, beauty and interior.

This September show features designs and accessories for the ages of 4 to 14. There were a lot of young entrepreneurs sharing their business and talents...VERY INSPIRATIONAL!

I put together a video that displays the atmosphere and some goood talent of the models werkin the runway! BUT, I'M HAVING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES AT THE MOMENT...I WILL UPDATE THIS POST WITH THE VIDEO LATER! =D For now, check out a photos from the show below and MORE at the ABS Fine Art & Apparel Facebook page HERE {like their page...your child may be interested in the opportunities}
