Karl by Karl Lagerfeld is out!!

The Karl by Karl Lagerfeld collection is here! If you have no idea what I'm talking about, get a quick update here.

So Karl has launched, and exclusively with Net-A-Porter.  It was really cute how Net-A-Porter and Karl Lagerfeld came up with great promotion on the site, keeping you wondering about the collection. I am impressed, but come on it's Karl Lagerfeld, so its really a no-brainer.

Karl Lagerfeld kind of expressing himself...to himself. He is opening up a bit and some interesting points he made include:

  • He does not like the word muse
  • He works by instinct and being himself
  • The secret to success...there is no secret
  • don't be a victim to success, if you think it is too much...do something else
  • Humor comes the way it comes...he is a professional improviser

Here are a few essential pieces picked by the editor of Net-A-Porter. Start shopping now!

Karl Lagerfeld is pretty modest, and I can appreciate that.  You do know he is the creative mind behind Chanel TOO don't you?!
Watch the full Chanel Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion Show and just see his vision from the garments to the runway (or stage set up). Very expressive and creative Mr. Lagerfeld!

Karl by Karl Lagerfeld coming soon!!

To be honest, this collection looks like the woman version of Karl Lagerfeld's signature look.  It will include his key accessories: detachable collars, shades, driving gloves and his black and white color palette.  Oh, and check out the heels, how cute are those!

Karl, the name of the affordable collection, is set to launch exclusively on Net-a-Porter in 2012, though you can get a sneak peak via Karl's microsite.

I can't wait to see the full collection and just how affordable it will be. I hear the collection will range from $50 - $1000.  These are luxury pieces for a great price, so this is definitely one of those times where investing in your wardrobe is okay ladies!

I will keep you posted!
